Application Description
For optimum performance, prepare the concrete mix according to the recommended mix design by adding cement, sand, and aggregates into a mechanical mixer. Add approximately 70–80% of the required clean water and mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes.
Next, add Dulux Aquatech SUPERPLAST+ to the remaining gauging water at the recommended dosage of 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. Pour the mixture into the concrete or mortar and continue mixing for another 2–3 minutes until a uniform, homogeneous consistency is achieved. Place the concrete or plaster immediately after mixing for the best results.
Maintain standard curing practices for structural elements such as beams, columns, parapet walls, chajjas, and slabs to ensure maximum strength and durability. For waterproofing applications in bathrooms, sunken slabs, or other low-lying areas, allow 1–2 days of proper setting time before carrying out further finishing work.
Always use a mechanical mixer whenever possible to achieve uniform dispersion of the admixture. Hand mixing is recommended only for small batches of up to 25 kg. Do not exceed the recommended quantity of water, as excessive dilution may reduce the effectiveness of the waterproofing compound.
