To achieve a flawless mid-sheen finish, follow this professional application process recommended by the experts at Dulux Newtown. First, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and entirely free from particles, dirt, dust, grease, fungi, mold, or flaking paint. For damp areas, use Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof Basecoat as recommended, and note that this paint should not be applied on surfaces with continuous seepage. For the initial priming coat, apply Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna basecoat diluted up to fifty percent and let it dry for four to six hours. Next, fill any visible dents with Dulux Acrylic Wall Putty, allow it to dry for six to eight hours, then sand the surface with 180-grit emery paper and wipe it clean.
