 To get the perfect smooth matt luxury finish, follow this step-by-step application guide from Dulux Newtown. First, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and completely free from particles, dirt, dust, grease, fungi, mold, and flaking paint. For damp areas in Kolkata's climate, use Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof Basecoat as recommended, and do not apply this paint on surfaces with continuous seepage or dampness. Next, apply Dulux Velvet Touch Eterna basecoat diluted to fifty percent and let it dry for four to six hours. Fill any dents or imperfections with Dulux Acrylic wall putty, let it dry for six to eight hours, then sand it smoothly with 180-grit emery paper and wipe clean. Apply a second post-putty priming coat using the same basecoat diluted to fifty percent and allow another four to six hours to dry.
